Dragon Millenium SP ChubHunter 8 rod 2.75m 0.5-8g

SP are the most popular types of spinning rods used by many anglers. They make it possible to adjust the length and casting weight to many situations in different fisheries. They have a very wide range of tolerance in terms of the types of lures used, all of them are also very resistant to overload and mechanical damage.

The multi-layer construction used combines three types of graphites from the Japanese company Toray :

• 24 mln PSI graphite constituting the basic building block of the blank;
• high-modulus high-strength graphites, from 24 to 46 mln PSI, in intermediate layers, especially in those places where the blanks are needed was
• a special reduction in weight and acceleration of the action;
• HDG Endurance graphite composite in the outer layer, increasing resistance to damage.

All elements used for Millenium HDG rod reinforcement meet the quality standards set by Team Dragon :

• SiC guides, with a ceramic ring perfectly dissipating heat, with a reduced diameter and mass, embedded in a light, but with a strong and flexible frame;
• butts connecting a hard, light and durable EVA foam with ground cork (Portuguese AA class cork in a fly rod);
• modern TVS grips, allowing direct contact fisherman's hand with a blank (DPS in the strongest models);
• two-component, ageless epoxy varnish for wraps;
• threads for wrappers by the American company Gudebrod.

The new blanks were produced in the Multi-Protection Layer technology, consisting in laying several layers of graphite with high resistance to damage on the core. The ability to lay many mats of different stiffness and characteristics, without increasing the amount of epoxy resin used, is already standard today, and the result is slimmer, faster, lighter and more resistant to damage to the rod.
