The PALMS BitArts S.S Jig 7g is a lightweight metal jig designed for LRF, Light Game and micro jigging, with a particular focus on predators feeding on sand eels and small baitfish.

Measuring 60mm and weighing just 7g, the S.S Jig combines a slim, baitfish-like profile with PALMS' Z Light Metal material. Its low specific gravity allows the jig to maintain its range while providing a more subtle presentation, making it especially effective when fish are feeding selectively or are less active.

The specially designed body produces a natural swimming action even on a slow retrieve, making it ideal for situations where an aggressive jig presentation would be too much. The single assist hook is wrapped with soft synthetic fur, which moves naturally with even slight water movement and adds extra life to the presentation. The fiber can also be trimmed to adjust the action to your preference.

Recommended Techniques

The S.S Jig 7g excels with slow retrieves, gentle lifts, short twitches and controlled pauses. Its subtle swimming action makes it particularly effective when fish are feeding on small baitfish and are reluctant to attack more aggressive lures.

It can also be worked close to the bottom, making it a versatile option for harbours, rocky shorelines and deeper coastal areas.
