Owner Cultiva JF-42 Jigger Light Hooks

The Owner Cultiva Jigger Light Assist Hooks JF-42 are forged, with spade end and feature Taff-Wire construction. They are straight and equipped with needle point. Their shape and size make them ideal for Free Slide, Tai Rubber or Tenya enthusiasts who enjoy tying their own rigs.

The first element that Cultiva modified in the JF-42 Jigger Light hooks is the spade end, as there was a risk with the knot slipping over. Hence the edge has been enlarged and the knot of the braided line stays securely in place and any chance of slipping out has been eliminated.

These hooks have been treated with fluorine to reduce friction resistance. Fluorine treatment also provides excellent penetration properties.

The Taff-Wire material, utilized by Owner Cultiva, helps create hooks that are thinner in diameter, yet stronger and harder than ever before. The single most important characteristic for hook penetration is the wire diameter. Taff-Wire hooks are stronger per wire diameter, than any hook in the market. It features a 20% thinner diameter than standard steel wire and is 20% stronger for unmatched strength and unbeatable hook penetration. Taff Wire is also much harder and denser than standard steel, so the Super Need Point hook points stay sharper for a longer period of time.
